Breaking the Hold: Leaving the Past - Honoring the Memory
We all know that letting go isn’t always easy—especially when it comes to those sentimental items that feel woven into our identity. But today, we’re diving deep into what it truly means to release, to break the emotional grip of the past, and to make space for the new thing God is doing in our lives.
In this episode of Roads, Rocks, Weeds & Soil, we’re tackling the sentimental clutter that holds us back. Why do we cling to things that no longer serve us? What keeps us stuck in the past instead of walking in faith toward the future? I share my own journey of release (yes, I had to let go of something too!) and challenge YOU to do the same.
💡 Isaiah 43:18-19 – "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!"
🔥 Challenge: Find that ONE sentimental item that’s been weighing you down. Reflect on why you’ve held onto it. Then, release it—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
📢 Don’t forget to tag #RRWSDeclutterChallenge and share your breakthrough!
✨ Remember, your testimony isn’t in what you let go—it’s in how God moves once your hands are free.

Roads, Rocks, Weeds & Soil presents:🌱 “Digging into the Good Soil of Forgiveness & Freedom” 🌱
🎧 Episode 4 is here, and we’re diving into the messy, shallow, and sometimes petty waters of forgiveness!
If forgiveness were easy, we’d all be out here living life unbothered, like we had amnesia. But for most of us? It feels more like we have a photographic memory of every hurt—playing on an endless loop.
💭 So how do we break free? How do we heal without carrying past wounds into our future? This week, I’m joined by Adrianne Wagner, LMFT, a trauma therapist who helps people let go of emotional baggage and move forward with clarity.
🎙️ Inside this episode:✅ The truth about forgiveness vs. reconciliation (spoiler: they are NOT the same!)✅ How resentment tricks us into thinking we’re in control✅ The physical and emotional toll of holding on to past hurts✅ When to forgive, when to walk away, and when to say "BYE!"✅ Plus: We play “Forgive or Forget?”—and it gets real!
💡 Colossians 3:13 reminds us:"Forgive as the Lord forgave you." But let’s be honest… easier said than done!
